'Adventure' encompasses a huge variety ofexperiences and comes in many different guises.

'Soft adventure' is the most popular type of adventure and is suitable for all age groups and most levels of fitness. I'm talking safaris in Africa and India, exploration journeys in Central & South America, the Great Train Journeys of the World, the exploration cruises to unique hidden bays, visits to civilisations not frequently visited and to the poles, Antarctic and Artic in smaller especially designed ships.

Soft Adventure - encountering cute Blue Footed Boobies on the Galapagos Islands, to having an elephant 'bumping' against your tent in Africa, to trying to converse with the local women in the markets of Peru, to the first glimpse of the Pyramids of Giza or to walking the streets of Ephesus where people have walked 4,000 years before you. The 'goosebump' moments - as I call them.

I always maintain that leaving the front door will take you on an adventure, however, when it comes to travelling the world, it's the next step up.There are amazing experiences out there with some requiring a little bit of effort, while others are from the comfort of your cruise ship, touring coach, train or smaller vehicle.
